**Microsoft discontinued support for MapPoint in 2015.

Note: If installing in Windows 7, run the install file as administrator. After completing installation, setup the program executable file (CMP.EXE) to be run with administrative privileges using the following steps.

Right click on the desktop shortcut to CMP.EXE
Select Properties from the popup menu
Switch to Compatibility tab and select "Run this program as an administrator"
Click on OK to save the change
