Transportation Logistics Software in Action
"We recently engaged Paradox Software Consulting (Paradox) to help with responding to a $40 million RFP for a leading fresh products retailer. Given the aggressive timeline for responding to the bid, Paradox's team worked round the clock in completing multiple iterations of analysis which involved routing and scheduling a sample set of historic shipments provided by the customer to determine optimal miles, trucks, and drivers. Paradox's quick and timely response helped us immensely in preparing our proposal. Their analysis got us about 90% of the way to our proposal and was critical in us winning the business. I would recommend their services and tools to any carrier or shipper."

Continuous Move Planner (CMP)
"Continuous Move Planner (CMP) has become a critical component of our service delivery strategy. We use the tool to carve out complementary segments of shippers' networks and set them up under dedicated transportation programs. Converting one-way volume to continuous moves helps our customers drive out costs and lock in capacity, which are the top two goals for any transportation procurement group. CMP is highly configurable and versatile. It can not only be applied to any truckload network, but also easy to use. We were able to review our first CMP modeled solution within the first week of using the tool. We would recommend CMP to any company needing to design continuous moves into their network."

Zero Waste Logistics
"Continuous Move Planner (CMP) is one of the most important tools in my design tool kit. For the person who wants to design continuous moves, this is the application to have. It does not require complex configuration, multiple data sets, or additional modules to develop solutions. CMP is well made and provides a good value. It would be an asset to any logistics design group."
"Dupre' Logistics has used the Continuous Move Planner tool for over four years both in a strategic role and as a tactical planning tool for our day to day operations. We find the tool useful to build loads that will minimize deadhead miles and reduce operating expenses for our operating groups. We have built plans for dispatch and executed those plans with success. The tool is also useful to build route plans that allow us to analyze a data set and pull routes out that can move in the continuous move mode. Response from the vendor is very good and I would recommend this tool based on our previous success."

“The CMP software has had a dramatic effect on the productivity involved in engineering solutions for both our external customers and internally. In the past it would take us multiple days or weeks to analyze the data to provide a solution, while with CMP, it has been reduced to hours or days. The CMP program has also allowed us to test projects before we submit a bid.
Secondly, the IT support and response time have been absolutely incredible. Never have I been put on hold and if I leave a voice mail I always get a very timely call back and then a follow up call to make sure everything is functioning properly. Lastly I would like to say as an everyday user of CMP I could not have asked for a more user friendly product."

"The CMP Software has proven to be a good solution for our Scheduling/ Dispatching group. This tool has helped our team improve on Driver and Truck utilization and has helped us make decisions that resulted in reduced fleet miles. The software has been user friendly and the support staff responsive to our needs."
Scheduling/Loading Area Manager
Paradox Routing Tool (PART)
“PART has enabled us to quickly and effectively determine resource requirements for projects. Its quick setup and versatility have been key in allowing us to efficiently analyze several different scenarios as conditions in the field change. The interface is easy enough to use that a fleet manager can fine tune solutions periodically. PART has become a valuable part of our solutions toolkit."

Transportation Resource Scheduling Tool (TRST)
“TRST has been a great addition to Exel Integrated Logistics Design Group’s tool set. It is the only standalone resource optimization tool that fits the requirements of many of our fleet solutions.
TRST is a user friendly, short learning curve program that produces excellent results. The resource balancing works extremely well to even the work requirements, in turn creating operationally effective equipment and driver schedules."
Director, Logistics Design
“Our company has used TRST since 2003. We use it for a variety of projects. Short & long haul, single & team drivers, shuttles, standard dedicated with drivers home every night & yard operations. We use it to create current state utilization charts for existing operations using the tractor and driver ID fields options. We also use TRST to create optimization solutions for existing and new business. Bhushan & Ellie are also available to answer questions and provide customer support. They are a great help. The cost is very affordable. TRST has provided tremendous value to our company over the years. We continue to use TRST on a daily basis and will continue to do so in the future."
“I've been using TRST for over 15 years and have been very satisfied with its results and support. I use it for most projects where I need to determine an optimal number of resources; trucks, trailers, and drivers."
Director of Logistics Engineering and Consulting
"In the logistics department of a major Grocery Co-Op, we deliver over 400 routes a week and make around 1100 deliveries. We have been using Paradox's TRST tool to model the utilization of our equipment and Drivers for about 3 years. It has been instrumental in assisting us in minimizing the number of resources needed to run our day-to-day business. One of the problems that TRST helps us visualize is the peak time frames during the week where we need additional resources. By spreading out the peak volumes onto other days we are able to reduce the number of resources in our fleet.
We also use TRST when taking on new business; we run the new routes through TRST to determine how many resources it would add to assist us in determining the cost of the new business and the freight rates. The changes that you have made to model Over the Road and Local routes separately make it so we can model both of our fleet in one pass. I highly recommend TRST for companies looking to improve the management of and/or reduce the resources they use to deliver product."

"The Lane Match software has proven to be a valuable tool by dramatically reducing the amount of time required to identify potential back haul opportunities. In addition, the program allows you to capture lane matches that would have otherwise gone undetected because of the dynamic functionality."
